As Director of School Policy and Compliance, I lead efforts to monitor changes in federal and state law, provide clear and timely policy guidance to CSI schools, and oversee the contracting process. I also support schools in maintaining compliance with legal and contractual obligations.
Before joining CSI, I served as a Senior Policy Analyst at the Education Commission of the States, where I worked closely with policymakers across the country, offering research and analysis on a wide range of education policy issues.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Colorado and a Master’s in Public Policy with a concentration in Education Policy from the University of Denver. As a former student of a charter school in CSI’s portfolio (go Wildcats!), I experienced firsthand the impact of innovative education models. That experience shaped my passion for education policy and my commitment to expanding access to high-quality educational opportunities for all students.
Outside of work, I moonlight as a short-order cook for my two spirited boys and squeeze in a sweaty run or bike ride when I can.
