Hello, my name is Kamina Johnson. I joined CSI as a Grant Technician in March 2026. My work consists of reviewing request for funds submissions and providing feedback to schools for Federal and State compliance requirements.

I worked for Ascent Classical Academy Charter Schools, Inc for over 4 years serving in various roles, including as the Purchasing and Finance Analyst. Previous I worked for 17 years for the United States Department of Agriculture. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, and a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics from Colorado State University. I also co-own a business with my husband in Northern Colorado, since 2014.

I am excited to support charter schools in Colorado as they provide high-quality public-school options to the students in our state in partnership with CSI.
