My name is Donna Day. I am the Special Education Coordinator for the CSI charter schools on the Western Slope of Colorado. I support the schools I serve by providing oversight of special education programs and professional development for staff serving our students with special needs. I joined CSI in the fall of 2012. Before my work with CSI, I held several other positions in Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado including speech/language pathologist, special education teacher for students PK through 12, assistant principal in a middle school, high school assistant principal, and executive director and special education director of a Colorado BOCES (Board of Cooperative Educational Services). I am a licensed special education director in Colorado. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Speech and Hearing Therapy from Stephen F.
