Hello!  My name is Ryan Hartung and I have been at CSI since 2017 working as a Data Specialist.  This role allows me to work with all our schools on completing all required State and Federal Data Collections.  I assist schools with the processing of their files, provide error reports, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with CDE to ensure all necessary deadlines are met.

My educational background is in Environmental Science but have had past roles setting up new data collection systems and other data related activities in both the Oil and Gas and Non-Profit sectors, which has given me the background and experience necessary to work with school related data.

The biggest challenge I see working with schools on data submissions is the high number of collections required with several deadline dates, which can be difficult given many schools have limited time/resources.  My goal is to provide schools with the training and resources necessary to make this process as seamless as possible.  I love working for CSI as it gives me the opportunity to work with our schools on a daily basis in an area of interest to me.

When I am not at work I enjoy hiking, skiing, traveling, and spending time with my family.  I am excited to see what the future holds in the world of data submissions!
