My name is Janet Dinnen, and I am CSI’s Director of Data and Communications. I have been with the organization in different capacities, including focuses on assessments, data analysis, state reporting, compliance monitoring, and school development since 2013. Prior to CSI, I served a variety of roles within the charter sector—I was a secondary teacher and member of the administrative team at a Colorado charter school, and prior to coming to Colorado, I worked in a charter management organization as well as at a charter authorizer. In my current role, I oversee state and federal reporting and data quality initiatives, the CSI Annual Review of Schools (CARS) accreditation system, and the new school application cycle. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Dayton and my Master’s Degree in Measurement, Evaluation, Statistics and Assessment from the University of Chicago. I love being part of the Colorado charter community and getting to witness how charters continually strive to raise the bar in public education, and I am thrilled for the opportunity to serve and support our portfolio of schools.
