HPA also provides my child with a quality education. Student needs are met in various ways, small class size, Enrichment programs that focus on needs, Music, Art, Gym, Wellness, and World Language. There is a collective effort to increase Reading and Math skills. Teachers are given time to plan for meaningful lessons.
HPA has a positive and friendly culture. My child has fun at school. He wants to be in school. There are various events happening during school and even after school. We have a very active Student Council, Parent Teacher Organization, and award winning athletic teams!
HPA continues to have high expectations for all students and teachers. They are accountable not only to CDE, to CSI, but to their Board, to us parents, and to our kids.
I strongly believe that HPA is able to provide all of these things because we are part of the CSI network and have some autonomy in operating our school to meet the needs of our students and not the needs of big districts that want to “cookie cut” or control all schools.
Parents should have school options for their children.
