Maribel Obreque is the Director of Family Services for The Arc of the Central Mountains. The Arc of the Central Mountains is a non-profit dedicated to supporting and advocating for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Mother to two children with special needs, she was drafted into this world by them and her passion to advocate for families with the same lived experiences. As a daughter of immigrants, she is also a dedicated advocate to the Latino community and is always looking for ways to elevate and amplify their voices.

She also serves on the board for Compass for Lifelong Learning, a non-profit educational organization overseeing Aspen Community School and Carbondale School.
