Josh Nichols
Hello! I am Josh Nichols and I have been with CSI since 2018 as one of the Special Education Coordinators. I support our schools along the Front Range of Colorado with their Special Education needs, 504 programming, and post-secondary transition planning. It is important to my work to continually recognize the unique needs of each of our schools and provide them with support that is relevant and timely.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Syracuse University, as well as a Master's degree in Special Education and Educational Leadership from the University of Colorado. Previous to CSI, I have been a Special Educator administrator for six years and a Special Education teacher for ten years.
In my free time I have fun travel adventures with my wife and four year old daughter, train for and compete in mountain ultramarathons, back country ski, mountain bike, and cook whenever I have free time! One other interesting thing about me is I was a Peace Corps volunteer in the country of Uzbekistan. These unique experiences help me bring skills to CSI and our schools while working with a talented and skilled staff.
