Danyell joined the CSI Board in 2020. Danyell is experienced in human-centered public policy, facilitation, and technical research. In her current role at Climb Higher Colorado, she works to advance CHC's coalition and Systems Impact Institute strategies to elevate traditionally marginalized voices in policy making processes. Danyell is a proud urban public school graduate and first generation college student who is deeply passionate about, and committed to, educational excellence—especially for children in low-income communities of color. She believes all students—whether rural, urban or suburban—deserve equitable opportunities to thrive. Prior to joining CHC, Danyell designed and led learning sessions and professional learning communities for funders, educators, leaders, and colleagues at Education First Consulting. She is an Ohio native and earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Dayton and a Master of Public Administration from the John Glenn College of Public Affairs at Ohio State University.
