Consolidated Grant Application

The Colorado Department of Education (CDE) uses the Consolidated Grant Application (hereinafter “Application”) to approve proposed expenditures and activities for federal programs, including Title I, Part A; Title II, Part A; Title III, Part A; Title IV, Part A; Title X, Part C.

Annually, LEAs must follow the Consolidated Grant Application Timeline and submit a completed Application to CDE. The Application includes an online platform and budget.  After reviewing and submitting required modifications to CSI, CDE typically approves the Application by late August/early September.   For more information, please access CDE's Consolidated Federal Programs Application page.

Consolidated Application Notice and Opportunity to Comment
The Colorado Charter School Institute (CSI) annually develops the ESEA Consolidated Grant Application (Application) in order to receive federal formula funds under the Title IA, IIA and III programs. Pursuant to EDGAR Section 76.304 and ESEA Section 9306(7)(a), local educational agencies, such as the CSI, must assure that the public was presented a notice and opportunity to comment prior to submission of the Application. Additionally, CSI must make the Application available for public inspection. Accordingly, you may view the 2013-14 ESEA Consolidated Grant Application and 2013-14 ESEA Consolidated Grant Budget.
